Job Description:

Under the supervision and in collaboration with the course coordinator, the TA will help teach, motivate, and engage nurses pursuing their bachelor’s degree on the topics of evidence-based practice, research methods, and knowledge translation. The TA will be expected to: (1) embrace learner-centered approaches to teaching; (2) mobilize students, guest speakers, and resources to offer exciting presentations, readings, and approaches to learning research, and discussions of research findings of relevance to nursing. The TA will participate in teaching and the evaluation of students in the course.

Salary: $35.20/hour

Desired Major(s): Nursing Preferred, Health Sciences

Desired Degree Level: Masters & Grad Dips & Certs

Qualifications:

Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.

Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.

Experience in Wound care preferable

Must be eligible to work in Canada
