Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for administrative functions within the Human Resources Department, to include strategic oversight of the university's full life cycle recruiting and talent management initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist maintains an effective level of business literacy within the Office of Human Resources, providing extraordinary customer service to the campus community.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the employee life-cycle to include the recruitment, offer, hire and onboarding process for staff, faculty and student positions in a timely and successful manner. Assist with new employee orientation when necessary
- Initiate communication and respond to employee and/or manager inquiries related to staffing/hiring, payroll, benefits and general HR matters. Assist with enhancing the Workday system, regular audits and troubleshoot issues, as applicable
- Oversight and support of special projects and/or events such as training programs, annual benefits enrollment, employee recognition, etc.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to provide insights for HR programs and solutions
- Assist hiring managers with the candidate interview and selection process as needed
- Partner with HR leadership on policy creation and revision
- Create and facilitate relative trainings for individual departments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field preferred
- 1- 3 years of experience in HR or business related field strongly preferred
- Previous experience in higher education preferred
- Previous Workday experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
Salary Range: $45,000 to $50,000 annually.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information and impose certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.
Florida Tech’s 2024 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The numbers provided include crime statistics reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures, descriptions of prevention and awareness programs, related university procedures and important guidance, and other essential safety information.

Official Transcripts
Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).
