Assistant Professor of Physics - (23002369)
The College of Science and Technology (CST) hosts over 45 baccalaureate degree programs, numerous minors, and certificate programs that span science, mathematics, technology, and science and math education. CST seeks to fill multiple non-tenure track positions focusing on physics and STEM instruction for TUteach majors at any rank.
The successful candidate(s) will provide instruction in physics or STEM coursework, student mentorship, and curriculum development. The CST physics department anticipates that the selected individual (s) contribute to further developing physics curricula for pre-health majors and life science students, technology-driven instruction, and recruiting new students to study physics. Candidates with a demonstrated background in teaching and developing foundational science courses and courses in science education that support the TUteach program will be considered for other non-tenure track positions in the college.
Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Science or Mathematics
Must have a strong background in research and teaching, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with faculty, students, and staff.
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
