Position Description:The University of Northern Iowa's School of Music seeks applicants for an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Percussion, starting in August 2024. Responsibilities include: teaching applied lessons in concert percussion, percussion methods classes, world percussion ensemble, recruiting both music majors and non-majors into the music program, and other activities depending on the needs of the department.

Education Requirements:Master's degree in concert percussion performance required.
Required Qualifications:Successful college-level teaching experience required.
Desirable Qualifications:Doctoral degree in concert percussion performance or related field (ABD will be considered); and at least three years of succssful college-level teaching experience preferred.
