The Pennsylvania State University's Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications has an opening for a Public Relations teaching faculty position. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor. This is a non-tenure track, multi-year appointment in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, slated to begin in Spring 2026.
We're searching for a dedicated Public Relations professional to join our faculty and contribute to our dynamic curriculum. This role requires the ability to teach core courses like public relations principles, strategies, and campaigns, as well as specialized topics such as crisis communication, and/or digital media. Beyond teaching, responsibilities include advising students and providing valuable service to the university and wider community. The ideal candidate will bring valuable professional experience from the strategic communications field.
A master's degree or higher must be earned by the time of appointment.
