Your Role on the Team

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Director of Communications and Director of Stewardship with day-to-day communications, including invitation design, presentations, speaker remarks, impact reports, and donor acknowledgment materials.
• Draft and edit speeches, presentations, PowerPoints, and marketing collateral that effectively tell the story of donor impact.
• Coordinate planning meetings and logistics for events and stewardship activities, including vendors, catering, registration, RSVP lists, and related details.
• Support administrative tasks such as reimbursements, basic data analysis, database management, and completion of required UCLC trainings.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

• 1-3 years of experience in communications and/or marketing.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a communications and marketing focus.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Preferred:

• Experience in event planning, stewardship, advancement, or advancement operations services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience supporting events, donor communications, and presentation development.
• Basic design sensibility and comfort collaborating on marketing and visual materials.
