Temporary Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable data entry clerk to support our team by entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of data with accuracy and confidentiality. This is a temporary position not more than 3 months.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing and abstracting malaria case data from the Epic electronic medical record system
- Accurately entering data into the REDCap database
- Analyzing the data and identifying trends, data gaps, and insights that can support future advocacy or provider education
- Ensuring confidentiality and adherence to study protocols
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma and 3 plus years of clerical experience is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in REDCap and Epic preferred
- Experience using R or SPSS for data analysis
- Strong judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret data and present findings clearly
- Prior research experience
- Interest in immigrant health, infectious diseases, or public health encouraged

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
Hiring Rate: 23.66
Post Probationary Rate: 24.19
Job Rate: 24.94
Minimum Salary Range: USD $23.66/Hr.
