Web Applications Developer
Job Summary
Reviews, analyzes and modifies applications and systems to include coding, testing, debugging and documenting software and programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop codes for interactive data driven web applications.
- Develop interfaces to back-end databases.
- Troubleshoot and debug pre-production web applications.
- Maintain and upgrade applications.
- Troubleshoot web server, setup and control form issues in system which affects web applications.
- Assist to analyze, design and test new and/or existing systems.
- Compile and write documentation to describe program development and revisions.
- Assist in determining user requirements for new and modified programs and/or systems.
- Keep current with the latest technology; regularly attend technical training in order to maintain technical expertise.
- Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Associates degree or 60 hours of college credit coursework in a related field required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 4 years directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of required degree
- 4 years experience programming or application development in a web-based environment, relational databases and query writing, and with cross platform language required
- Experience programming and debugging, and operating systems is preferred
Licensing & Certification
- Valid Texas Driver License

Working Conditions
General office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
