The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Grade: Professional 306 Pay Range: $60,300.00 - $90,500.00

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work in a cross functional environment for page creation or landing pages that are in line with team and organization goals
• Update data/stats/numbers across site
• Migration of CMS platforms and page transition
• Attending meetings essential to the respective vertical and function
• Typo/wording/minor error fixes or accuracy updates
• Creating/updating scholarship pages
• Creating/updating partners pages
• Posting state news releases
• Posting state, college, and general blogs
• Monitoring, identifying and fixing broken links (through Monsido)
• Publishing all other pages for WGU
• Support stakeholders in author responsibilities for their respective pages and sections
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

• Website design, content creation, and general non-profit knowledge
• Interpret complex content for general audiences.
• Ability to lay out web pages with the user/client audience in mind.
• Ability to maintain many simultaneous projects, set and deliver upon realistic timelines, work as a team and with autonomy.
• Ability to train and teach others basic content management system skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with CMS required (preferably AEM)
• 3+ years of website content experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or equivalent experience (1 year of experience for 1 year of education)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience in higher education
• Working knowledge of HTML or markdown
