Academic Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons #ORT044
The University of Chicago's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and those who have demonstrated leadership as mid-career or senior orthopaedic surgeons, with the goal of identifying a leader for our section of pediatric orthopaedic surgery. These positions will encompass clinical and surgical pediatric orthopaedic care, as well as teaching and supervision of trainees and students and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, 4) have completed an ACGME-approved orthopaedic surgery residency or its equivalent, and 5) have completed an ACGME-approved fellowship or its equivalent in an area directly relevant to the specialization.
