We now have an exciting opportunity for an Activations Officer to join our team.
- Full-time, fixed term position until April 2027.
- HEWL 5: $78,740 - $89,310 per year plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Activations Officer provides high-quality support across events, sponsorship activations, and social media initiatives that enhance brand and client experiences while driving engagement for JCU’s products and services. The role contributes to the planning and delivery of high-impact events and integrated marketing activities, ensuring stakeholder requirements and brand alignment are achieved.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the Activations Officer supports the development of promotional materials and social media content in line with brand guidelines. This includes coordinating organic social media content, capturing content, and leveraging social platforms to build JCU’s brand presence.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE
- Qualifications and relevant experience in marketing, events, communications, or a related discipline, aligned with a HEWL 5 classification under the Enterprise Agreement.
- Demonstrated experience supporting event delivery and social media management, including creating engaging content across a range of media platforms.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to deliver a customer‑centred service and achieve positive outcomes.
- High level of computer literacy, including experience using the Microsoft Office suite and marketing technologies, with strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills, enabling you to manage competing priorities, work independently when required, and contribute effectively as part of a team.
