Associate Director of Admissions - Recruitment (Student Services Manager I), Minimum Salary: $54,165 per year, USC Aiken Admissions
The Associate Director of Admissions supervises enrollment counselors in the Office of Admissions. Represents USC Aiken for the purpose of recruiting new students, using USC Aiken Admissions’ territory management system. Makes efforts encouraging prospects and their families to visit campus, creating additional applications for admission, and following-up with previous applicants. Counsels prospective students/parents as well as high school guidance counselors/administrators.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of enterprise systems (ideally Ellucian), university specific or corporate CRM’s, and various Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, and ability to balance priorities. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and public presentation skills. Ability to build relationships with prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree. Professional experience in university admissions office, recruiting students, utilizing/managing CRM systems, supervision of professional admissions staff, coordinating of communication plans. Experience in giving public presentations.
