Position Overview

The Associate Director of Admissions for Adult & Graduate Programs is a key leader within Lincoln University’s enrollment team, responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating recruitment and admissions strategies for adult learners and graduate students at the School of Adult and Continuing Education (SACE) in Philadelphia. This role manages the SACE-based admissions team and serves as the strategic lead for outreach, application funnel management, communication planning, and workforce-aligned recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead recruitment strategies for adult undergraduate and graduate programs, with a focus on working professionals, career-changers, and degree completers.
  • Represent Lincoln University at regional recruitment events, graduate fairs, community outreach programs, employer-based sessions, and professional associations.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community colleges, workforce boards, employers, and adult-serving organizations to generate sustainable pipelines.
  • Lead the planning and execution of SACE-specific recruitment events including open houses, virtual webinars, and employer spotlight sessions.
  • Supervise the SACE recruiter and support staff and provide coaching, set performance goals, and ensure accountability.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Admissions to maintain alignment on admissions policies, timelines, and enrollment targets.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the SACE admissions office, identifying opportunities for process improvements and improved service delivery.
  • Partner with main campus Associate Director to execute CRM-based outreach campaigns (email, text, call) targeted at adult and graduate populations.
  • Utilize data and analytics to assess funnel performance, improve segmentation, and inform message timing and content.
  • Ensure data accuracy, timely follow-up, and coordinated communication strategies across both campuses.
  • Oversee the application review process for adult and graduate applicants, including document collection, eligibility verification, and faculty review coordination.
  • Provide high-touch support to prospective students throughout the enrollment lifecycle.
  • Monitor melt and yield trends, using data to drive interventions and communication strategies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between SACE admissions and SACE faculty to maintain accurate and up-to-date program knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Success, and Workforce Development teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support structures for incoming students.
  • Represent SACE programs in university-wide meetings and planning processes related to recruitment and retention.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in admissions, enrollment management, or higher education recruitment, including supervisory responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience working with adult learners, graduate students, or workforce-aligned programming.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, Ellucian Recruit) and data-informed decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed and travel regionally; valid driver’s license required.

  • Commitment to access, equity, and inclusive practices in higher education.
  • Familiarity with workforce development initiatives and non-credit to credit pathways.
