About the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design: The creative heart of Drexel University, the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design trains the next generation of scholars, thinkers, makers, and doers in the fields of media, entertainment, design, and the visual and performing arts.

About the Cinema & Television Department: Cinema & Television is one of seven departments in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.

Job Summary: The Department of Cinema & Television is looking for an accomplished entertainment professional who is ready to pass on their accumulated knowledge to our eager, talented, and ambitious students. The Film & TV program seeks applicants for adjunct, part-time positions in areas including: Film or Television Studies; Producing; Production Sound Recording; Cinematography & Lighting; Editing; Specialty crafts including Production design, Storyboarding, Color Correction, Steadicam.

Essential Functions: Teach studio, lecture, and/or practicum courses based per contract. Plan and provide instructional experiences that reflect an understanding of the philosophy, objectives, and curriculum of the Film & TV program. Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes. Maintain communication with the program director regarding any course or student issues.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of industry experience. Established track record of professional achievement. Fluency with the current film and television industries.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree.
