Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Westchester Community College is more than just the county's largest educational institution. Job Description
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching courses in the following areas: PC Hardware, Operating Systems, Principles of Information Security, Server Administration, Network Security, Computer Forensics, and Penetration Testing.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree and one year of practical experience are required. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to engage students in active learning and integrate technology into the classroom.
Preferred Qualifications
Current Information Technology industry certifications and previous college-level teaching experience are preferred.
Additional Information
SALARY & BENEFITS: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.
