Adjunct Instructor for Sports Law - Bellarmine University
The Bellarmine University Business Administration department seeks a part-time adjunct faculty member, who will teach Sports Law in the spring semester of 2026. The class is currently set to be offered in person from 6:00 to 7:15 on Monday and Wednesday. This could be changed if a candidate is identified early enough. The course description is as follows: "This course exposes students to the legal aspects of sports: including sports agents, contracts, title IX, antitrust issues, and intellectual property. The course is primarily designed for sports administration majors and sports studies minors." The successful candidate will perform tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of a J.D. is required
- Candidate must be able to teach the class in person.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate law courses.
Additional Information:
The teaching load will be three credit hours in the spring semester of 2026 but there is a possibility to renew in the future. Contracts are issued on a semester by semester basis. Candidates should embody the university's commitment to student success, and inclusive excellence.
