The Administrative Assistant for Building and Grounds supports the department in the day-to-day work of the front office, ensuring effective customer service for students, faculty, staff and the broader community. This is a full-time, in person position.
Essential Duties:
- Support work order process
- Employee record maintenance
- Manage utility database for College facilities
- Create monthly vouchers for utilities
- Issue keys for summer groups and incoming students
- Provide walk-in, email, and phone support to students, faculty, staff.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and positive environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates degree, or training and experience directly related to job requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Knowledge of Millennium and FMS work order system a plus).
- Ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully and courteously, both externally and internally, with a diverse community.
- Must be skilled at task shifting and adjusting focus in a dynamic environment.
- Organizational skill, efficiency and accuracy in maintenance of records
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Salary: $23 - $25 hourly
