Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Functions
Information/Records Administration:
- Utilizes, reconciles, and manipulates data from different internal and external systems.
- Maintain records (both electronic and hard copies) of department budgets.
- Facilitates accurate completion of Dean's Recommendations, adjunct appointments, One Time Pays, Direct Pays, and other forms as needed.
- Applies an in-depth knowledge of a variety of complex processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates acceptable and accurate interpretations and applications of the archival procedures and tenure and promotion policies and procedures.
- Exercises responsibility for administering budgets, including making recommendations on the use and distribution of funds, identifying needed supplies, and ordering them. In conjunction with the administrator, advises other units on fiscal matters, including budget planning, budget analysis, and funding sources.
- Manages the administrator's overall budgets by regularly reporting expenditures and the allocation of funds and sources.
- Independently interprets and applies all aspects of the P-card purchasing policies and procedures, as well as special funds accounting for grants, along with the university policies and procedures of purchasing.
Student Services:
- Support student scheduling.
- Respond to student emails in consultation with the Assistant Chair/Chair if necessary.

- Problem resolution requires some interpretation of policy and procedures.
- Serves as a resource for others in resolving unprecedented, non-standard issues and problems. Assumes responsibilities for and manages the results of decisions.
- Coordinates and facilitates solutions with other work units. Interprets and completely understands when to refer complex problems to the chair.
Work Schedule/Hours: Hours would occur Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00. Days and times will be negotiated based on departmental need.
