Administrative Manager - Finance and Business Operations
POSITION DETAILS
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Finance and Business Operations, the Administrative Manager along with the CUNY Title Overview, will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Manage the administrative functions for the office of Finance and Business Operations, including but not limited to recruitment and facilities management
- Serve as the primary liaison with IT/ help desk ensuring staff member access requests and basic troubleshooting are processed in a timely fashion.
- Oversee and manage projects involving multiple areas of the College community, ensuring successful project management and outcomes through effective planning and execution.
- Coordinate implementations of new technology for the Campus, scheduling and organizing training, workshops and meetings in a timely, and efficient manner.
- Drive process improvement across finance administrative workflows, implementing automation, standard operating procedures, and data quality controls.
- Collaborate with campus partner in IT, and facilities to advance finance related initiatives and support cross functional programs.
- Create and maintain records retention schedules, support audit readiness and internal control adherence to office processes.
- Ensure proper approvals and receipts handling; enforce internal control standards for office activities.
- Oversees all departmental procurement activities and liaise with internal and external vendors.
- Perform related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required.

- Manages administrative aspects of department operations such as admissions, recruitment, scheduling, facilities management, and events.
- Serves as Office Manager, supervising and training staff, managing financial operations and budgets, and coordinating technology, equipment, security, and building maintenance requirements.
- Represents management in meetings and activities related to department administration.
- Maintains archives, inventories, or collections of materials or records needed by the department.
- Works with fund-raising, marketing, technology, and other personnel to provide information and participate in Campus or University-wide initiatives.
- Collect information for, produce, and distribute department reports covering program, fiscal, and human resources issues
- Independently carries out unit activities such as approvals, student interactions, and participation in campus- or university-wide committees and projects.

Salary commensurate with education and experience. $74,249 - $113,982
