Job Summary

This position would report to the Assistant AD of NIL (name, image and likeness) and serve as the main administrator for NILGo and CAPS for the Athletic Department as well as leading student-athlete fulfillment of internal and external revenue share and third party NIL obligations. The Assistant Director would be responsible for managing NIL platforms, working with student-athletes daily, and assisting the Revenue Share/NIL Office with administration responsibilities to ensure the CU Athletic Department is in compliance with CSC rules and regulations.

This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Administrator of NIL Platforms:

  • Onboard and manage student-athlete accounts in NILGo, CAPS, PayPal HyperWallet, Compass, Buffs NIL Exchange
  • Serve as main point of contact between CUAD and relevant NIL platforms
  • Manage student-athlete third party NIL deal disclosures with and educate third party “Deal Sponsors” and “Deal Facilitators"
  • Ensure institutional attestation duties

Fulfillment of Student-Athlete Revenue Share and NIL Obligations:

  • Work with internal CU Athletic Department units (Buff Club, Marketing, etc.) to schedule and complete student-athlete licensing agreement obligations
  • Liaise with Learfield BSP NIL Team to schedule and complete student-athlete third party contractual obligations, provide on-site support during activations
  • Assist Learfield BSP NIL Team with Compass platform process

Group Licensing:

  • Onboard and manage student-athlete rosters within group licensing programs
  • Serve as main point of contact between CUAD and group licensing partners (OneTeam, Fanatics, NIL Store, etc.)
  • Liaise with CUAD Director of Licensing

Student-Athlete Marketing Support:

  • Provide direct support and resources to student-athletes via onboarding meetings and one-on-one brand-building education
  • Be responsible for business/community member registration and education for the Buffs NIL Exchange

What We Can Offer

  • Starting salary range is $65,000 - $70,000. Relocation assistance is available within department guidelines.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • One year in collegiate athletics, preferably NIL.

What You Will Need

  • Ability to compose video highlights for evaluation by football coaches and staff.
  • Ability to build reports with status of ranking, tracking and recruiting prospects.
  • Ability to review documents to assess academic status.
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions related to the evaluation and recruitment of football prospects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

What We Would Like You to Have

  • Three years experience in collegiate athletics. One of those years in NIL.
  • D1 collegiate athletic experience.
