Basic Function: The Graduate School of Psychology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in the APA-accredited PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology starting Fall 2026. Responsibilities include teaching, research mentorship, academic advising, dissertation supervision, and program development.

Representative Duties:

• Provide academic instruction through lectures and assessments.
• Advise students on programs of study and resources.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Plan and organize instruction aligned with course outlines.
• Maintain records of enrollment, attendance, and progress.
• Select instructional materials.
• Create assignments to foster active learning.
• Maintain an active research program involving graduate students.
• Teach and hold office hours in person on campus.
• Adhere to teaching, advising, service, and scholarly responsibilities.
• Attend meetings and participate on committees.

Knowledge Of: Current theory and practice in clinical psychology, effective teaching principles, research methodologies, and more.

Ability To: Demonstrate knowledge in the subject field, deliver curricula for various learning styles, exhibit sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, and more.

Minimum Qualifications: A PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications: From APA-accredited programs.

Licenses and Other Requirements: Licensed or license-eligible in California within three years.

Physical Abilities and Working Environment: Involves classroom settings and typical office activities.

Hiring Range: $82,000-$95,000
