Job Description
The AACSB-accredited College of Business Administration offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in a variety of business disciplines. Within the College, the separately AACSB-accredited Accounting program offers a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accounting and supports DBA students emphasizing Accounting in their research. The Accounting Department is a collegial workplace comprised of faculty members with a variety of research and scholarship interests.
Essential tasks that must be performed include: (1) conducting independent research in accounting and publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals; (2) teaching graduate and undergraduate courses; and (3) providing service to the department, the College, the University, the accounting profession and/or the wider community.
Qualifications
Candidates must have (or expect to complete) a Ph.D. in Accounting (or the equivalent) from an AACSB-accredited university before the start date.
We welcome candidates with research and teaching interests in any area of accounting. We seek colleagues who will actively pursue scholarly research and enthusiastically approach teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary and benefits are competitive.
