Assistant Professor in Sport Management
Job Description
Miami University (Oxford, OH) is announcing a search for an Assistant Professor in Sport Management to teach undergraduate and graduate courses beginning Fall Semester 2026. Responsibilities include teaching sport management courses; maintaining an active research agenda; pursuing external funding; advising undergraduate and graduate students; and providing professional service to the department, college, and institution.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Sport Management or a closely related field by the date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with: 1) evidence of high-quality instruction; 2) evidence of scholarship in sport management or closely related field; and experience teaching sport management courses at the college level, including, but not limited to, Sport Administration, Sport Governance, Sport Marketing, Sport Economics, Introduction to Sport Management, and Sport Communities and Public Relations (graduate).
