Assistant Professor of Management (26-06)
Francis Marion University and the School of Business invite applications for two Tenure-Track, Assistant Professors of Management. Earned doctorate in Management from an AACSB institution is preferred. ABD with completion imminent is acceptable.
Expectations include excellence in teaching, active student engagement inside and outside the classroom, and the development of a quality research program. Prior teaching at the university level and experience with online and experiential learning pedagogies are preferred. A typical teaching load includes nine (9) hours per semester. Primary teaching responsibilities may include courses in principles of management, organizational behavior, human resource management, and/or strategy.
The School of Business at Francis Marion University, a public regional liberal arts university with a diverse student population, is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Francis Marion provides generous support for teaching, research and professional development. Summer research stipends are available on a competitive basis.
