"Assistant Professor of Management"

The School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo invites applications for a full time, tenure-track, 10-month, Assistant Professor position beginning August 1, 2026. Information about the program can be found at https://kokomo.iu.edu/business/index.html.

Responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester (in-person, online, and hybrid); establishing and maintaining an active, productive research program; and being active in service to the program, the campus, and the university.

One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo, is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 60,000. Committed to student success, the campus serves approximately 3000 students from a 14-county area in north-central Indiana. IU Kokomo has around 271 full-time faculty and staff. Minimum Qualifications -Requirements include a doctoral degree in Management or a closely related field, teaching experience at the undergraduate college level, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in student-centered learning and collaboration. ABD will be considered. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service in areas such as leadership, organizational behavior, human resources, ethics, strategic management, entrepreneurship, international business, or other relevant management disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications -Doctoral degree in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited university. Teaching experience at the MBA/graduate level. Experience mentoring undergraduate or graduate students. Evidence of the use of experiential learning. Candidates with an MBA or professional experience are desired.
