"Budget Analyst"

The purpose of this class is to perform advanced level duties in maintaining various accounting records for assigned College department of division.

Bachelor's degree in a finance related discipline and three years of experience in finance or accounting required. Master's degree and/or CPA certification preferred. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

1. Prepare, review, and analyze operating budgets.
2. Assist faculty and staff in revenue and expense monitoring.
3. Prepare various financial reports and statements in compliance with federal, county, and state regulations.
4. Oversee, monitor and/or control appropriations and expenditures, as required.
