The School builds on the engineering principles of Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Materials Engineering to create new and emerging technologies including Biofabrication, Advanced Manufacturing and Chemical Processing. We work with partners to build new, and improve existing, systems and technologies across mechanical, medical, mining, food and beverages, oil and gas, energy, waste, sugar, and chemical engineering industries. The School’s research is well aligned with the University’s real-world positioning, through partnerships across internal and external boundaries..
