Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

Position Summary:

Yeshiva University's Katz College of Science and Health is seeking full-time non-tenure track faculty members to teach in an undergraduate Nursing Program. We are hiring faculty with expertise in the following specialty areas:

• Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing
• Pediatric Nursing
• Maternity Nursing
• Medical Surgical

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and write assignments and coursework taught in the undergraduate nursing program
• Teach in both lectures and laboratories
• Provide remediation instruction to ensure student success
• Provide academic advisement for undergraduate nursing students
• Collaborate with members of the Katz Nursing faculty and other University faculty
• Participate in student recruitment events and retention initiatives
• Participate in Katz College of Science and Health scholarship activities and projects
• Serve on Nursing Program and University committees and provide professional service
• Participate in Nursing Program assessment and accreditation-related projects, reports, and site visits
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Coordinate Clinical Adjunct Faculty

Experience & Educational Background:

• Nursing Faculty positions require a current RN licensure, registration in New York State, and a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
• All applicants should possess strong clinical expertise in their area of specialization
• Prior teaching experience and specialty certification are strongly preferred
• Experience with ATI is also preferred
