Job Summary:

An Adjunct instructor is a term-to term appointment with responsibility to students, course material, and classroom and/or online instruction. Teaching duties include all levels of the Business curriculum for undergraduate and graduate courses.

Roles Summary:

To undertake teaching activities in the curriculum area, ensuring a high quality of provision, in response to learners’ needs. To work collaboratively and innovatively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake teaching and learning related activities, as agreed.
• To ensure that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
• To undertake administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.
• To contribute to the development of curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration Functional Skills development and equality and diversity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters in teaching area with at least 18 graduate hours in Business discipline form a regionally accredited university.
• Ability to teach undergraduate level accounting and/or Business courses.
• Commitment to teaching excellence and delivery.
• Willingness to teach at the CSU Main Campus, the CSU Dayton Location, and CSU Global.
• Experience and interest in teaching students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
• Ability to use technology in instruction and advising.

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or closely related area
• Expertise in teaching area
• A record of verifiable academic
