- Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Consultant, Systems Business Analyst to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
The Consultant, Systems Business Analyst – Engagement Platforms is a key operational partner within QUT’s Digital Engagement Platforms (DEP) team, working closely with business units to ensure that business processes, system configurations, and solution designs are fully aligned with the platforms we support—notably Salesforce. This is an operational role focused on ongoing support and continuous improvement and process optimization to maximize the value of our enterprise engagement systems. The successful candidate will balance core IT service management practices with the ongoing transformation and enhancement of QUT’s student experience. The role will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to enhance processes in engagement, nurturing, marketing and advancement space. This position reports to the Digital Portfolio Manager within the Student and Stakeholder Engagement (SSE) portfolio for career planning, development, and performance expectations.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience as an analyst in areas focused on customer engagement and business growth, including marketing, enquiry management and advancement.
- Demonstrated experience in operational business analysis, process improvement, and system support (ideally within Salesforce or similar platforms) with a strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient technical skills and hands-on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, service management tools, and database query tools (e.g. SQL), with the ability to understand and interact with complex relational databases or rapidly acquire these skills.
- Well-developed verbal and interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical and diverse audience.
- Demonstrated written communication skills including the ability to produce high quality user procedures, system documentation, and correspondence.
- Demonstrated organisation skills including time management with the ability to work effectively within a client-focused team in a changing environment including the ability to work independently.
