"Data Analyst"

Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Data Analyst for the Office of Advanced Research Computing. The Rutgers Clinical & Research Data Warehouse (CRDW) Data Analyst position involves contributing to various aspects of clinical research data management, analysis, and visualization.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Assists in maintaining data quality, performing analytical tasks, developing visualization techniques, and aiding in the selection and application of analytical tools within a clinical research data warehouse context.
• Uses EPIC data structures and other healthcare-related data systems.
• Leads team efforts to ensure data Quality Assurance (QA) processes are effectively implemented, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of clinical research data within the data warehouse.
• Develops data visualization techniques to present findings and insights effectively, aiding in the interpretation and communication of results to stakeholders.
• Develops analytical workflows, optimizing processes for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting within the clinical research context.
• Recommends, selects and implements appropriate analytical tools and methodologies to support research teams in leveraging data for analysis.
• Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
• Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers' regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent education, experience, and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements. 3 years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, or a related field.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing. Visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, analyzing written information/data, etc.

Salary

A maximum of $104450 is budgeted for this position.
