Director, Student Success and Completion

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Director of Student Success and Completion provides leadership in the daily and long-term operation, evaluation, and implementation of a comprehensive Student Success model that supports students from entry through completion. This role oversees key functional areas including Advising, Call Center, Admissions, and Outreach to ensure a seamless, student-centered experience across the student life cycle.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for planning and oversight of key functions within the area of Student Success and Completion, including Advising, Call Center, Admissions, Records, and Outreach.
2. Manages, monitors, and administers area budgets.
3. Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates department employees at various levels.
4. Develops, implements, and evaluates strategies, programs, and services that support student recruitment, onboarding, and advising.
5. Creates, analyzes, and utilizes a variety of detailed reports.
6. Analyzes, interprets, and implements policies and practices as they relate to compliance and operational effectiveness.
7. Maintains communication and collaboration with academic departments, system offices, and external partners.
8. Serves on and attends internal and external meetings, committees, workshops, and conferences as required.
