Position Title: Executive Administrative Assistant
Department: Registrar
Term of Assignment: continuing
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt = overtime eligible
Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm; 2 Saturdays a year for commencement
Salary: Hourly rate: $16.10
Travel: No travel
Brief Statement of Duties: Prepare degree evaluations for students, review records and approve graduation qualifiers, coordinate transcript evaluations, data correction, and transfer services for new and continuing students, maintain, review, approve, and process advanced placement credit, review guest applications, and assist students planning to take courses at other colleges to ensure transferability of coursework back to NMU.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required Education: High School Graduation or Equivalent
- Required Minimum Work Experience: Five years' related office experience or a Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required: Strong customer service skills, Attention to detail, Computer skills, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Organizational skills, Ability to multi-task.
Additional Desirable Qualifications: Familiarity with student records and curriculum.
