As Executive Assistant to the Dean of Arts, you'll play a pivotal role in the faculty’s success. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and professionalism whilst working closely with a distinguished academic leader. Your expertise will be crucial in managing the Dean's busy schedule, handling sensitive communications, and fostering positive relationships across the University and beyond.
- Provide High-Level Executive Support: Manage the Dean's diary, correspondence, and daily activities, exercising discretion and foresight to ensure smooth operations.
- Facilitate Effective Communication: Act as the primary interface between the Dean and key stakeholders, responding to queries and disseminating information accurately.
- Manage Administrative Processes: Arrange travel, process expenses, and maintain efficient record-keeping systems, including confidential digital platforms.
- Contribute to Team Success: Collaborate on team projects, implement process improvements, and provide backup support as needed within the Office of the Dean.

You are a highly organised and discreet professional with exceptional communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively to support high-level academic leadership in a dynamic university environment.
You may also:
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Have strong organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Be proactive and show initiative in anticipating needs and solving problems.
- Have experience in providing executive-level support in a complex organisation.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with digital collaboration tools.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
