About the Role
The University of Wollongong is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Partnerships and Innovation (PVC P&I). In this pivotal role, you will manage the daily operations of the Office of the PVC P&I and provide administrative support to the iAccelerate team and the Innovation and Commercial Research Unit (ICRU).
You’ll be part of the Research and Innovation Division—an energetic, values driven team committed to excellence, integrity and delivering research with real world impact.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualifications and/or experience in business administration.
- Strong experience providing executive support in a large, complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high level committee and secretariat support.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information and competing priorities.
- Experience working within established policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the PVC P&I’s diary, travel, correspondence and confidential matters.
- Coordinating office operations, financial tasks, reporting and administrative processes.
- Providing high level support for committees and working groups, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
- Supporting events, stakeholder engagement activities and special projects.
- Assisting with onboarding for new staff and iAccelerate residents.
- Upholding UOW’s values and contributing to a safe, inclusive and collaborative workplace.
