Executive Associate to the Vice President for Finance and Administration
Job Summary/Basic Function:
About the position:
Primary responsibility for providing executive support to the vice president for finance and administration (VPFA) through calendar management, organizing meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes where appropriate, preparing communications on behalf of the VPFA, addressing inquiries from internal and external constituents, facilitating document flow, processing travel requests, and similar duties. In working with the VPFA, organize agenda items and information for the quarterly Council of Trustees meetings, including coordination related to such with the president's office. Administrative responsibility for compilation, management and cataloging of institutional policies. Works closely with departmental leaders throughout finance and administration, requiring familiarity with those specific areas. All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and five years' experience supporting an executive or management level position; or the equivalent combination of experience and education to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Experience scheduling complex meetings and/or events.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, including proficient oral, written, and proofreading skills.
- A high degree of integrity and adherence to confidentiality.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects.
- Attention to details and deadlines.
- Highly skilled in the use of Zoom and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations.
- Successful interview.
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Banner, PeopleAdmin or SAP experience.
- Experience in supporting an executive or management level position in a university setting.
Days Worked: Monday - Friday
Hours/Shift worked: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Periodic unscheduled overtime may be required depending on office needs.)
