Job Description:

• Drive strategic coordination and governance support for Uni IT leadership.
• Strengthen communication, workflow and leadership effectiveness.
• Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
• Base salary range: $134,288 – $142,099 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

University IT (Uni IT) is the University’s central information and technology function, enabling teaching, learning, research and operations through reliable, secure and innovative digital services. Uni IT leads across the full technology landscape, from digital strategy, architecture and cyber security to platforms, applications, data, service management and major program delivery, underpinning critical student, research and corporate systems and enabling a modern digital experience for staff, students and partners.

About the opportunity

• Support the CIO and Senior Leadership Team with governance, coordination and executive rhythm.
• Draft, refine and quality‑assure high‑quality executive briefs, papers and correspondence.
• Drive follow‑through - keeping actions and decisions moving, anticipating issues and removing friction.

About you

• Tertiary qualification in business management or demonstrated equivalent work experience of more than 5 years.
• Exceptional written communication and briefing skills — this is core to the role
• Experience working closely with senior leaders in a complex organisation
• Sound judgement, discretion and the confidence to operate at senior level
• A proactive, organised mindset and a strong sense of ownership
