About the role:

Operating within Facilities Management Melbourne, the Facilities Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the campus which will involve planning, scheduling and programming of multiple property related services, activities and projects. The regular inspection, assessment and rectification analysis of the built environment and its operating systems, BMS, represent a primary element of the role which in turn helps underpin the business continuity of the campus and the Facilities Management portfolio. This position will play an important role in developing and maintaining relationships with university staff, contractors and stakeholders generally across the campus. The Facilities Manager will be expected to respond to contact outside normal hours in the event of a genuine emergency or where there is a serious immediate risk to students or university property. Should such circumstances as the need to attend campus out of hours arise or there is a need to manage an incident remotely then the payment of overtime may apply in accordance with the ACU Enterprise Agreement.

• Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
