"Faculty Position in Photojournalism, The School of Visual Communication"

The School of Visual Communication (VisCom) at Ohio University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Photojournalism with a focus in conservation, editorial, or documentary storytelling. This position is part of a strategic interdisciplinary cluster hire that advances Ohio University’s Dynamic Strategy, particularly its commitment to experiential learning, applied research, and alumni engagement.

This position is being posted as an Open Rank tenure-track faculty role. Rank will be negotiated at the time of hire and will be based on the candidate’s unique skills set, education and experience levels, and professional credentials.

We seek an accomplished visual journalist and educator who brings a passion for storytelling, a strong commitment to hands-on teaching, and the ability to connect students with real-world experiences that drive meaningful impact.
