"Finance Manager"

Position Purpose:

This position will report to the Vice Dean for Business and Administration and provide accounting, financial reporting, restricted fund management, financial forecasting, contract management and overall financial support for the School of Medicine. They will work in a team environment and support designated activities overseen by the Vice Dean and also the Senior Director of Business Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of four (4) years experience in budget/accounting/financial analysis.
• Fund accounting, financial reporting and forecasting experience.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability in financial management including planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Excellent spreadsheet/database skills.
• Ability to think creatively, problem solve, work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing and growing environment and to manage multiple tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of higher education/healthcare financial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of physician compensation and contracting preferred.
