- Hawkesbury campus with flexible working arrangements.
- Salary: $104,953 – $113,204 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will support, maintain, and enhance Western’s HR information systems to ensure they meet compliance requirements, deliver reliable HR operations, and reflect the evolving needs of the University. You will play a key role in configuring HRIS modules, developing workflows, supporting upgrades, and resolving system issues. Your work will directly improve the digital experience of People and Culture teams and the broader University community.
You will partner with the Manager, HR Systems and Analytics and work closely with the People Operations Improvement team to automate routine requests, develop AI-driven enhancements, and streamline processes. This includes translating business needs into effective HRIS solutions, improving user capability, and ensuring a high standard of governance and data accuracy across workforce systems.
This role also liaises regularly with HR and IT stakeholders, providing data extracts, analytics, training, and user documentation. You will identify opportunities to improve systems, enhance reporting capability, and lift digital literacy across HR by building practical, user-friendly system guidance.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver accurate configuration of HRIS modules, workflows, and reporting solutions.
- Respond to service requests promptly, escalating complex issues where needed.
- Provide reliable data extracts and analytics that support HR operations and planning.
- Improve system capability by developing documentation and delivering training.
- Identify and propose enhancements based on system usage and stakeholder feedback.

About You
- Experience in HRIS administration, configuration, or technical support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills and clear communication style.
- Experience generating reports, data extracts, or analytics from HRIS platforms.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in data handling.
