P&C Project Coordinator

About the Role
Swinburne’s Ad Astra 2030 strategy incorporates a suite of interconnected People Projects lead by the People & Culture team, aimed at strengthening culture, capability, leadership, employee experience, and workforce maturity. People & Culture also lead a broader program of work focused on enabling Ad Astra and other major organisational initiatives to support workforce advancement and institutional progress.
As Project Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of multiple People & Culture transformation initiatives. Working across a diverse program of work, you’ll help ensure projects are well planned, effectively governed, and progressing smoothly providing hands on coordination, reporting, and stakeholder support.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HR or People & Culture project support professional who enjoys variety, collaboration, and contributing to meaningful organisational change within a complex environment.
This is a fixed-term, full-time role until February 2027, based at Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus.
About You
You’re a proactive, highly organised project professional who thrives in people-focused environments. You enjoy bringing structure to complex programs of work and supporting teams to deliver great outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience supporting or contributing to people, culture, HR or transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination or project support roles
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience supporting governance processes, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Highly developed written communication skills and strong attention to detail
- A collaborative working style and the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams and portfolios
- Experience working in higher education or a large, complex organisation
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
