Kinesiology Instructor/Athletic Head Coach (PC)

Basic Function

The Kinesiology Department at Porterville College is seeking a faculty member for a Full-time, Tenure Track, Kinesiology Instructor and Head Coach for the Porterville College location.

Representative Duties

Porterville College is seeking a Kinesiology instructor and Head Coach who can provide instruction in Kinesiology courses and lead one of the following sporting areas: Men's Baseball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Track & Field, Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education OR Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND Master's degree in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration, or physical therapy OR the equivalent. A demonstrated sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities.
