Lecturer and Director of Economic Analysis and Public Scholarship
The Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNC Greensboro invites applications for the position of Lecturer and Director of Economic Analysis and Public Scholarship. This 12-month role is benefits-eligible and 0.75 FTE (part-time), effective on August 1, 2026. The position is designed to strengthen the Bryan School’s engagement with external stakeholders, support regional economic development, and enhance the visibility and impact of the Bryan School.
The successful candidate will serve as a strategic bridge between the Bryan School and the broader community by disseminating existing research to public and private sector audiences and identifying and securing research funding opportunities related to economic development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Economics or in a closely related discipline with a Concentration in Economics.
- Demonstrated experience in economic development, public engagement, or applied research.
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and professional writing.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience in a post-secondary institution, especially in Economics.
- Experience in higher education or academic research environments.
- Familiarity with North Carolina’s economic landscape and development priorities.
- Experience producing economic reports, policy briefs, or similar publications.
