Lecturer
The Department of Anthropology at Princeton University is accepting applications for a lecturer position in environmental anthropology and/or the social studies of science and technology for the 2025-2026 academic year, with an expected start date of September 1, 2025. Responsibilities include teaching four courses: an introductory environmental anthropology course and three thematic courses in the candidate's area of expertise. Additionally, the lecturer will mentor undergraduate students working on their senior theses. An advanced degree in anthropology or a related field is required. Work at the intersection of the environment, science, technology, medicine, and public policy is of great interest, and prior teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred. Princeton is interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
