Position Description
This position will provide behavioral health services at the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, TX. Specific duties include testing, psychological evaluation, and diagnostic services, as well as counseling assigned patient caseload. This position functions under the supervision of a higher-level licensed psychologist, but the individual has full professional responsibility for higher-level actions and advice.

Major/Essential Functions
- Completes timely and clinically sound mental health screenings and assessments using approved tools.
- Effectively manages an assigned caseload by providing consistent clinical contact, monitoring progress, and updating treatment plans as needed.
- Facilitates individual and group therapy counseling sessions that are appropriate for the patient population.
- Completes all clinical documentation accurately and objectively, within the required timeframes.
- Responds promptly and effectively to mental health crises, using appropriate clinical intervention. Ensures the safety and stability of the individual and documents actions completely.
- Performs all other assignments as directed.
