Qualifications: Candidates must have an earned PhD in MIS or a closely related discipline and demonstrate a strong record of excellence in research and teaching. We welcome applications from assistant professors with 4 or more years of experience, as well as tenured associate and full professors. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests align with the division's focus areas and who have the ability to teach across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Description: Open Rank Professor of MIS (tenure track). The University of Oklahoma (OU) invites applications to fill one open rank tenured or tenure-track position in the MIS division starting in the Fall of 2026. Our strong programs in the MIS division build on a history of excellence, distinguished faculty members, and an active industry partnership. The division offers an undergraduate major and minor in MIS, graduate in-person and online programs focused on Business Analytics, and a Ph.D. degree. It operates the Center for MIS Studies (CMISS), an industry-academic partnership through which faculty and business partners collaborate on research and curriculum development. The division has an active MIS Student Association, provides sizable student scholarships annually, and enjoys strong support from the university and industry partners.
