Location
Armstrong Campus, 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31419. Note: Part-Time Clinical Instructors work exclusively at their assigned clinical sites.
Department Information
The Department of Clinical Sciences houses programs including BS Respiratory Therapy and strives to develop healthcare professionals who are well-prepared to meet evolving needs.
Job Summary
The Department of Clinical Sciences is accepting applications for a pool of part-time faculty to provide laboratory instruction for the 2025-2026 academic year on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the department chair, the part-time clinical instructor assists in supervising students in the respiratory therapy clinical setting, demonstrating skills, ensuring safety, documenting attendance, evaluating performance, and serving as a liaison between the clinical site and the university.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and an active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
- Commitment to best practices in instruction, mentoring, and curriculum design
- At least one year of professional experience in the clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience. This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
