About the Position
Due to exciting organic growth within our People & Talent team, we’re thrilled to open a new opportunity for a passionate and forward-thinking People Business Partner to join us at Bond. Over the past year, several team members have progressed internally, and this role has become available as part of our ongoing commitment to investing in our people and strengthening the support we provide to the University.
As part of a collaborative, high-performing and growing team, you will partner closely with senior leaders across designated Faculties and Administrative Units to ensure our people strategies are aligned with the broader ambitions of the University.
In this pivotal and relationship-centred role, you will:
- Provide expert guidance on HR, employee relations, and industrial relations matters.
- Support initiatives across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery and practices.
- Champion and support organisational change and strategic workforce planning.
Reporting to the Deputy Director & Head of Partnering, you will play a key role in shaping a positive, future-focused workplace culture.
About the person
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least four years’ experience in a similar role within a large, complex organisation
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and enterprise agreements
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience in leading or mentoring a small team
- Experience within the higher education sector is advantageous

Salary details
The salary for the position ranges between $96,222.23 and $110,164.68 per annum, plus 12% superannuation, commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
