Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics Polish Academy of Sciences, Laboratory of Genome Stability Mechanisms is opening a call for a post-doc position in the project funded by the Polish National Science Centre entitled “Tracing the aging phenotype at the cellular level”

Research Field: Biological sciences » Biology
Education Level: PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- PhD in biochemistry, biology, or a similar field, obtained before assuming the position, but no more than 7 years prior to starting the position.
- Experience in molecular biology, fluorescence microscopy, and microscopic data analysis. Knowledge of yeast genetics techniques. Experience in flow cytometry would be an advantage.
- Fluent communication in English (required for collaboration with other group members and colleagues from collaborating institutions, and for preparing publications).
- Passion for the scientific research (demonstrated via publications, references of the candidate's thesis tutor),
- Knowledge of Polish is a plus but if you excel with other requirements we can live without it,
- It is expected that during the period of employment at the Institute, Postdoctoral Researcher will not undertake any other work.
